AWS Backend Engineer for Streaming Golf App – Writing
Join our dynamic and innovative team as an AWS Backend Engineer. We are seeking a highly skilled professional with expertise in AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), API Gateway, Lambda functions, and Amazon IVS (Interactive Video Service). The ideal candidate will establish robust backend patterns, ensuring scalability and efficiency in our cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable and secure backend services using AWS CDK.
Develop and maintain API Gateway configurations backed by AWS Lambda functions.
Architect and optimize data flow using AWS EventBridge for event-driven processes.
Collaborate with other developers to integrate video and chat functionalities using Amazon IVS Video and IVS Chat.
Establish and enforce best practices for serverless and event-driven architectures.Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and efficiency in all backend deployments.
Lead the backend development team in adopting new AWS features and technologies.
Requirements:
Proven experience with AWS services, particularly with CDK, Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, and Amazon IVS.
Strong understanding of serverless architecture and event-driven design.
Experience in managing and deploying backend services in a high-traffic environment.Proficient in Node.js, Typescript
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong communication skills and proficiency in documenting architectures and processes.
Preferred Qualifications:
AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Developer.
Prior experience in a video streaming or real-time communication platform.
Familiarity with frontend technologies and frameworks for better API integration.
Hourly Range: $17.00-$35.00
