Codemirror react – decorations are not recognized as widgets. – Virtual Assistant job

We are using codemirror, and the decorations we have are not recognized as atomic ranges, hence the following bugs occurs:
–  backspace is not deleting widgets
– traveling with the cursor over widgets make the cursor disappear (Inside the widget text "[[some]*]" when * is the cursor location.

and other  problems.

we are looking for an expert to explain why in our configuration the codemirror is not recognizing the widgets as atomic ranges.
