Content Marketing Manager using Hubspot

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Content strategy development
– Crafting a compelling content strategy that fits the company’s brand
– Aligning content with overall business objectives

2. Competitor and audience research
– Conducting competitor research
– Defining the ideal audience(s) to target with content

3. Content planning

4. Content oversight
– Creating efficient content marketing processes
– Ensuring high-quality content creation that aligns with company goals and branding

5. Search engine optimization
– Implementing SEO best practices in content creation
– Monitoring and adapting to search engine algorithms

6. Performance analysis and reporting
– Using analytics tools to assess content performance
– Generating reports and adjusting strategies based on data
– Making educated recommendations based on performance

We are seeking an experienced Content Manager to join our remote digital marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing a content strategy to drive organic growth, traffic, and conversions and increase the performance of our marketing clients.

This is for approximately 10-20 hours per week.

This is primarily for two clients; however, we sometimes need suggestions regarding content for our other clients. (Local clients, competing for local traffic)

Responsibilities:

—Create outlines (content briefs) for compelling content (blogs, ebooks, guides etc.) to attract and engage target audiences
—Conduct keyword research to optimize content for search visibility
—Manage the ideation, development, and publishing of new content to our client sites (WordPress and Hubspot)
—Monitor data metrics and analyze performance using analytics tools and  act accordingly
—Stay up-to-date on keyword ranking positions, new trends in the SERPs, new technology, and website/competitor audits
—Identify new opportunities and channels to improve organic reach
—Create content briefs based on approved topics for us to write new blog posts or update existing posts, etc.

Requirements:

—2+ years experience with content & inbound marketing
—Strong knowledge of SEO and the role that SEO plays in content marketing (including competing pages/keyword cannibalization)
—Expert knowledge of SEO and inbound marketing best practices, including the sales journey, etc.
—Proficiency with Google Analytics, Search Console, Hubspot is needed
—Experience with Ahrefs, SEMRush and other marketing software is recommended
—Strong analytical skills and data-driven approach
—Native-like written English skills
—Ability to work independently and manage priorities
—Ability to use Chat-GPT (and/or similar AI tools) to improve efficiencies and performance.

—Related Google Certifications

This position is suitable for someone with 1-2 years of business development or marketing support experience, specifically who also has experience with HubSpot.

Hourly Range: $10.00-$25.00
