Developer Needed to Build An Estate Planning Website with Custom Components – Writing
Non-technical founder building a digital estate planning web application/platform.
There are custom components that make this platform unique and notably differentiated from the current market/industry of estate planning solutions (ex. Trust & Will, FreeWill, LawDepot, related LegalZoom services, etc), which is why an NDA will be required by whomever is hired for the role.
The core functionality of the website build will require users to be able to create core estate documents such as:
• Last will and testament
• Power of attorney
• Living will / medical POA
• End of life plan
• Personal care instructions
• Emergency plan
As well as related components such as:
• the ability to upload additional files to their account (cloud storage and backup solution)
• inviting other users to join their account and access their estate documents
• and a section where they can have their documents notarized online (this might be a future build and potentially unnecessary for the basic version)
From here, the unique market differentiator would complete the rest of the build. I will explain to the hired developer what this would entail after hire is initiated and NDA is completed.
I'll have some assistance with the UI, so that's not the primary focus. Functionality is the top priority.
