Full-Stack Dev Required | SaaS platform development – Affiliate Marketer Job
Looking for an experienced, trustworthy and reliable full-stack engineer to build version one of a software (SaaS) product.
You will be responsible for building the front-end and back-end and should be comfortable doing so. Please do not apply if you have less than 2 years of practical, first-hand experience as an engineer with a proven track record of successful projects.
Required skills & competencies:
– Able to build React components based on provided UI designs
– Solid experience with NextJS/NodeJS/SQL
– Deep experience with Selenium or Puppeteer
– Familiarity with agile development processes and test-driven development
Some of the core technical capabilities (scope of work will be given and agreed before engagement begins):
– Scraping HTML pages and assembling bundles to be displayed in-app (most difficult)
– Adding visual and text elements to these pages
– User authentication
– Data analytics (basic)
Important things to note:
1. This project will be hosted in Github & tracked in Linear using agile methodology.
2. If we can safely skip corners by using boilerplates, templates and existing open-source solutions or third-party providers, let's do it.
3. Ideally working towards a 6-month timeline, if we can do it in less than that's great.
4. You will be working independently as an engineer, although happy to bring on extra support/skills if needed. Product UI design is handled in-house.
5. I'm looking to work with someone who makes software engineering look like child's play — someone who is passionate and self-motivated.
6. BONUS if you are able to also consult on the best approach to tactical any tech obstacles. Ideally someone who wants have involvement in the project from a strategic point of view, too.
