I’m currently searching for a talented and dedicated ghostwriter / talented story writer to collaborate on an exciting project: a young adult fiction novel inspired by one of Shakespeare's popular plays.

Project Overview:
This novel is already well underway, with approximately 50,000 words completed out of an anticipated total of 60,000 to 65,000 words. The foundation is set, and what remains is to bring some character traits and chapter parts to life with compelling dialogue and vivid character interactions.
I have prepared notes and entered 'gap pointers' within the manuscript to guide your contributions and ensure a seamless blend of our creative efforts.
It is important to me that I would continue to have complete rights to the story, now and in the future.

Ideal Candidate:
I’m looking for someone with a genuine passion for storytelling and a knack for crafting engaging, multi-dimensional characters. The ability to convey distinct personalities, relationships, and emotional arcs through dynamic dialogue is essential. Familiarity with Shakespeare's works is advantageous, but not mandatory, as the spirit of the play needs to resonate in a context that modern young adults can relate to.
Essential Skills:
  – Strong grasp of character development and interactive dialogue
  – Ability to maintain voice consistency throughout the manuscript
  – Show not tell narrative and dialogue
  –  Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  – Knowledge in writing for a young adult audience

Qualifications:
  – A degree in English, Creative Writing, or a related field is preferred.
  – Proven experience in fiction writing, particularly in the young adult genre.

Job Details:
Location: You must be based in an English-speaking country, e.g. (USA, UK, Australia, Canada, NZ)
Type of Work: Completing the manuscript with the possibility of revisions for coherence and style
Payment: I am open to negotiating a fixed price for the completion of the project rather than an hourly rate. Please provide a proposed quote when applying.
