Position Overview:
A successful candidate would be self-driven and excited to learn, develop and deliver distributed software systems. He or she will have a keen technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and enjoys achieving results in a fast paced, dynamic environment. We are a CloudNative stack company and use some of the latest tech stack.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Create, deploy, monitor, and maintain high performance and scalable Golang microservices in the production
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.
Build reusable production data pipelines
Help to manage the infrastructure and data pipelines needed to bring an ML solution to production
Assemble large complex data sets that meet both functional and non-functional business requirements
Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS big data technologies
Collaborate with stakeholders including the executive, product, data and design teams to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
Must Have Skills:
A successful Golang Microservice Developer will have:
The candidate should have backend experience and preferably cloud.Need backend experience and React is a good to have.
Overall 8+ years of Software development experience using Golang including strong understanding of software engineering principles
Have hands-on experience in : Golang and Java.
Preferred experience in streaming technologies, protocols, codecs and standards and micro services architecture.
Have a solid understanding of design patterns and hands-on knowledge in applying these concepts to practical problems
Have the ability to convert ideas in working products through high quality code.
Have some prior experience in developing production ready code and software products.
Have experience in building and managing both internally consumed and externalized micro services based applications, with a solid understanding of the challenges presented by the architecture including inter-service communication, service discovery, distributed log collection, monitoring and independent scaling of services, etc.
Have experience working in an Agile environment and the ability to work in a constantly evolving project, without losing sight of the requirements or the overall vision.
Good to Have Skills:
React is good to have.
Experience with alerting and monitoring tools (New Relic, CloudWatch, etc.)
1 year of experience working with distributed data technologies (e.g. Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark, Kafka, Flink etc) for building efficient, large-scale big data pipelines
Experience Implement data ingestion pipelines both real time and batch using best practices
Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra
Qualification:
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering, or a related technical degree.
