Investing Content Writer / Editor – WEB DEVELOPMENT
I'm looking for writing help on my investing affiliate site modestmoney.com.
The initial project I need help with is a content audit. I want to go through existing content and try to improve the quality and user experience. I've already produced a report of pages with low time on site, low pages per visit and high bounce rate. I'll want to use these metrics to guide us to pages which likely need the most improvement.
The goal will be to improve those specific metrics and ultimately better satisfy visitor intent. The kind of improvement needed will vary from page to page. For example it might be things such as improving wording, adding missing information, removing redundant info, defining where certain images or video should be added, guiding visitors to other pages via internal links, etc. In some cases we can get inspiration from how competitors approach this but we won't want to limit our approach to just copying them.
The most important pages for this task are focused on specific investing/trading products. So you would need some investing knowledge to better understand these products. You don't need to be an expert investor but you should be able to understand things with a bit of research.
Beyond content updates I'll likely need help with writing new content after this. Also we're working on adding more evergreen informational posts which might need improvements. Really improving content and the overall site is an ongoing project.

Unfortunately I don't have a large budget. I'm a solo entrepreneur running this site with contractor help. This project is meant to help overcome some recent Google challenges. If this works out I'd want long-term writing/editing help with increased pay as the site does better. So there's decent long-term potential for the right person.
