iOS – Swift Sr – Part Time – Writing

We are a team of engineers with a backlog and need to bring another person on board for a period of 3-6 months.

Looking for an engineer who has at least 5 years iOS application development experience. These persons have solid SDLC from accepting Mockups through to Scopes/Specs and Git commits and even App Store Connect publishing and testing via Test Flight. You have likely built over 10-20 applications inside a team or on your own.

Our matching person is reliable and can learn rapidly/problem-solve using rapid iteration.

Required Skills:
– Firebase (elaborate Data Models)
– Firebase AUTH
– 3rd Party APIs like OpenAI, Twilio  or anything (with long-running processes)
– Data design patterns, understanding a balance with UI/UX latency.
– Analytically sound and can deal with on-device calculus, using sensor data, (calculate Distance, Volume, Mass etc)
– Integrate 3rd party packages (description during interviews)
– Lidar data, Depth maps etc.. (have touched or could learn fast)
– iOS Frameworks: AVFoundation, Core Image, ARKit, SceneKit
– Other: Vision, Core ML, Vision Kit

Hiring Process:

Step 1 – We will chat interview here with each person who has the required skills. Also share a checklist you can view online

IF Shortlisted will meet with a Team Leader

Step 2 – Interview: You would demo a working application and show off your experience and skills. Also we discuss how you work and our SDLC – If it goes well we discuss a single starter paid project.

Step 3 – Contracting here, based on Milestones / Tasks for a specific set of applications and requirements.

How to do this fast:

** Be prepared with demonstratable XCODE applications/sources.  If you do not have any applications of your own that we can see and verify working skills/experience, hold off on applying until you do.

** Clear any doubts, or anxious questions about the interview with us before moving past Step 2. This will calm your nerves and let it be a very easy and enjoyable experience (even though we all know HR is boring)

We understand that the hiring process feels like a gamble or a waste of time. We feel the same as we are all engineers and applied for jobs. The point is we have to verify everyone and if you have never applied for a Professional FAANG job this is 10x easier but still required.
