Ongoing Craft CMS Website Maintenance Services – Translator job
We are seeking a contractor as a provider of website maintenance services on a website built in the Craft CMS. Services are subject to be charged at an hourly rate dependent on experience. We anticipate that services will not exceed 5 hours per month on average.
Maintenance involves the day-to-day upkeep associated with the organization's website.
Contractor services will include:
● Updating CMS core, plugins, and themes
● Creating and storing backups regularly
● Monitoring Security
● Optimizing performance
● Fixing broken images or elements of the website design
● Ongoing SEO
● Removal of malware, spam, and malicious code
● Recovery of website files from backups as needed
● Consultation and guidance on the back-end of the website.
The organization will:
● Clearly communicate information and promptly respond to contractor questions.
● Provide the contractor with access to the organization's website with the capability to provide the above maintenance services.
Additional Services: Any work we request the contractor to perform that is not specified here shall be considered "additional.” The contractor will advise the organization on any requested work that falls
within these bounds.
If the contractor begins or anticipates spending more than 10 hours per year on a project or
activity, this scope of work will be altered or a new scope of work will be drawn up (e.g. if the organization decides to transfer the website to a new CMS). Additional services that take fewer than 10 hours per year will be provided the same hourly rate.
Deadlines & Deliverables: The contractor will respond to all maintenance requests from the organization within 36 hours on weekdays and 48 hours on weekends, via email or phone, with a confirmation that the request was received, and an estimated completion date for each action item in the request. The contractor will adhere to all quoted deadlines for the deliverables in the maintenance
requests at all possible costs. In the event that the contractor has any issues in delivering on a quoted deadline, the organization contacts will be notified via email or telephone of the reasoning for any change.
The contractor will notify the organization once they hit 5 billable hours of work each month, unless otherwise agreed upon. Unused time does not transfer from month to month. The contractor and the organization will then agree upon an appropriate number of additional hours to allocate for the month, if any.
Payment: The contractor will be paid on a monthly basis, upon receipt of the invoice. The
contractor will include a breakdown of the activities within the invoice, with project time
expressed in 15min. increments.
Termination and renewal policies: We anticipate services will be ongoing. If either party decides to terminate the agreement at any point, they will do so with a 30-day notice. The agreement can be terminated by the contractor immediately if either party breaks this agreement.
Ownership agreement: The organization will retain ownership of the website and its content.
Authorization: The organization will authorize the contractor to access its web hosting account, providing active user name / password combinations for access to the server via FTP, assuring that 'write permissions' are in place on said hosting provider.
Confidentiality: The parties agree to hold each other’s proprietary or confidential information in
strict confidence.
Hourly Range: $25.00-$70.00
