PHP Backend and Web Developer Needed for Geopolitical MMO Game Project
Description:
We are in search of a talented and versatile PHP developer to join our team for an exciting freelance project focused on developing a geopolitical MMO game similar to eRepublik. As a backend and web developer, you will be responsible for architecting the backend infrastructure and implementing key features on the web interface.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with our team to define project requirements and technical specifications
Develop scalable and efficient PHP code for the backend of the MMO game
Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed
Implement game mechanics, user interactions, and in-game features
Design and develop the web interface for the game, ensuring a seamless user experience
Optimize performance and ensure the stability of the game server and web platform
Requirements:
Proven experience as a PHP web developer, with a strong portfolio of past projects
Deep understanding of PHP and related web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Experience with MySQL or other relational databases
Knowledge of game development principles and best practices
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Bonus Skills:
Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
Familiarity with RESTful API development and integration
Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and techniques
Previous experience working on multiplayer game projects or MMOs
