SEO & WordPress Wizard – SEO Job
We are looking for an expert in SEO and on-page optimization who is specifically skilled in WordPress-based sites. We are a small but successful independent brokerage that helps business owners secure key person life insurance policies. We have been working in the industry for 30+ years, and our website keypersoninsurance.com has existed for just as long. Our clients span the entire US, so local SEO is not our number one goal as virtually all of our services are handled digitally or over the phone.
The site needs a lot of work. Google has ranked us favorably for many years simply because we have been around longer than our competitors. What we do is very niche. We don't have many one-to-one service competitors. Our competitors online are information conglomerates like Nerdwallet, Forbes, etc. However, we know that if we can nail down our SEO and on-page optimization we can rank #1 for our target keywords.
What we need is an SEO wizard, someone who can keep up with Google's algorithm updates and who has a mind for conversion. We need to grow our organic traffic and establish clearer sales funnels within our site navigation. We are committed to the site we have because of the long legacy it has. At this time, we are not interested in building a new site. We need an expert in SEO and WordPress who can take our established site, quickly identify its problems, and implement changes to optimize & evolve the way we deliver content to generate more organic traffic/leads. We already have an on-staff writer who can revamp our pillar pages and articles. But we have so much content and much of it is still thin. We struggle to prioritize what the next right step is for our site from an SEO and lead generation perspective.
We have conducted many audits on our SEO, and will happily provide this. We are not looking for someone to just tell us what our problems are, we are looking for someone who can solve them. Someone who can identify the low-hanging fruit and build from there.

– Off-page optimization (link building)
– Site performance clean-up
