SEO Specialist – SEO Job
We are a dynamic marketing agency seeking a skilled SEO Specialist to join our team on a project-based contract. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of search engine optimization strategies, including keyword strategy development, technical website optimization, and link building. This role is pivotal in enhancing our clients' online presence and driving their digital success. There will be many domains involved at various times during the engagement.
**Key Responsibilities:**
– **Keyword Strategy Development:**
– Conduct comprehensive keyword research and analysis to identify potential keywords that align with client goals.
– Develop and implement keyword strategies to optimize content and increase visibility and rankings.
– Monitor and adjust keywords as market conditions and search engine algorithms evolve.
– **Technical Website Optimization:**
– Evaluate and optimize website structure, page speed, and overall site health to enhance search engine crawlability and indexing.
– Implement on-page SEO best practices, including optimizing meta tags, headers, and images.
– Collaborate with web developers to ensure SEO best practices are incorporated into website design and development.
– **Link Building Strategy:**
– Develop and execute link building strategies that enhance domain authority and improve SERP rankings.
– Identify and engage with reputable external websites for link acquisition.
– Monitor backlink profile to ensure high-quality and relevant links are maintained.
**Qualifications:**
– Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role with a strong portfolio of successful SEO projects.
– Proficient in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Yoast)
– Proficient in WordPress administration and ideally Hubspot
– Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
– In-depth knowledge of current SEO practices and techniques.
– Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
– Willing to overlap at least 4 hours in the Eastern Time zone (i.e. New York City)
**Contract Details:**
– This is a project-based contract position, but will be ongoing and long-term
– Projects will vary in scope and duration, depending on client needs.
