Software Engineer in Test (SET)
We are seeking an experienced and driven Software Engineer in Test to join our remote, globally distributed team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing automated test strategies to ensure the quality of our software products.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test automation frameworks for web and mobile applications.
Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure thorough testing coverage.
Develop and maintain automated test scripts using JavaScript and related testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium).
Participate in the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline, ensuring seamless integration of testing activities.
Analyze and report on test results, identifying and documenting bugs and issues.
Contribute to the improvement of testing processes, tools, and best practices within the team.
Stay up-to-date with the latest testing methodologies, tools, and technologies, and advocate for their adoption when appropriate.
Requirements:
At least 4 years of experience as a Software Engineer in Test or a similar role.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Appium.
Hands-on experience with automated testing for web and mobile applications.
Proven experience working in an Agile development environment, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, CircleCI).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a remote team.
Curiosity and a willingness to learn and adopt new concepts and technologies.
A kind and humble attitude, with a desire to work with and support a friendly team.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with mobile testing (iOS and Android platforms).
Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and related tools.
Familiarity with performance testing and load testing techniques.
Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, Appium, Cypress).
