Virtual Assistant for WordPress Publishing – WEB DEVELOPMENT

We are looking for a virtual assistant / publishing assistant to help upload content into WordPress, finding stock images to accompany posts, and much more. This candidate should be thorough and detail-oriented, with a strong knowledge of editing current posts and uploading and formatting new posts in WordPress. Bonus points if you have experience using Gutenberg Blocks before.

Instructional guidelines inclusive of documentation, videos, and access to a task management software will be provided at the beginning of the project or as needed throughout the job.

Job Responsibilities:
—Uploading content: Copying content from a Google Word Doc to a post in WordPress.
—Formatting content: Formatting text (i.e., headers, sub headers, body copy, calls-to-action), tables, links, lists, and images, as described in the Google Word Doc.
—Downloading stock images: Finding and downloading photos from stock photography websites (we will provide logins) that are relevant to the article and adhere to the client style guide
— Researching and updating current data that changes on a daily/weekly/monthly basis

Ensuring Quality of Uploads:
—Page layouts must be clean and visually appealing on both desktop and mobile.
—Text styling (i.e., headline, sub headline, body copy) and order of content elements (i.e., text, image, table) must match the Google Word Docs.
—Hyperlinks on the pages must work correctly (opening in the correct windows and directing to the correct websites).
—Images on the pages must be appropriate to the website's theme and relevant to the article.

Hourly Range: $15.00-$30.00
