The Sensible Living Foundation, a newly established nonprofit focused on financial literacy, community gardens, and sustainable housing, is seeking a talented and experienced Website Designer to create our digital footprint. We aim to launch with a professional and engaging online platform that effectively communicates our mission, vision, and goals to a wide audience while providing functionality for donations, email sign up and program/meeting scheduling.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and launch a professional website that reflects the foundation’s values and objectives.
Create an intuitive and engaging landing page highlighting our mission, vision, and future plans.
Develop a user-friendly interface for visitors to schedule meetings with our team.
Integrate a secure, accessible donation platform to facilitate contributions to our cause.
Ensure the website is scalable, with the ability to add more features and pages as our foundation grows.
Requirements:
Proven experience in website design, with a portfolio that includes work for nonprofit organizations.
Proficiency in web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms like WordPress.
Experience with online donation platforms and scheduling systems.
Strong understanding of user experience (UX) design principles.
Ability to work closely with our team to understand our vision and translate it into a functional website.
Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) best practices.
Excellent communication and project management skills.
