We are looking for a talented website designer and social media marketer to create a prison pen pal website with all the same features and functionalities as writeaprisoner.com. The website should provide a platform for inmates to connect with pen pals from around the world. As the designer, you will be responsible for creating an engaging and user-friendly website, ensuring seamless navigation and functionality. Additionally, you will be in charge of marketing the website on various social media platforms to attract potential pen pals. Our company is looking for an experienced designer/programmer to create a diverse, user friendly pen pal site for incarcerated individuals. We would like our website to function just like writeaprisoner.com with the same features and functionality, but better and more modern and efficient. Our focus is connecting the incarcerated population to the community in an effort to reduce recidivism, build positive relationships and allow A Way Out of the walls that have held too many for too long. These are the key components that are a must have in design and execution of the website:
1.Premium Accounts are to be presented on the first page of the site.
2.A search function with multiple filter options for navigating the site such as state, age, gender, sex orientation, religion, ethnicity, etc.
3.Live Feed will show a live scrolling list showing each profile that has been updated in the last 24 hours.
4.Ability to add funds or Credit to individual's profiles which will allow family/friends to fund the individuals account for future independent updates by the incarcerated individual.
5.Social media posting will allow individuals to pay extra to be posted on the company's social media pages for maximum exposure.
6. Account Subscriptions services will allow for varied account prices and services.
7.Allow family/friends to submit changes and pay for them through the website easily including profile form for creating and or updating the profiles including uploading pictures.
8. Easy to use and user friendly design for both the users as well as the owner.
9. Simple profile creation and ability to edit or approve online-submitted profiles to go live on the site easily in a few clicks or less.10.Automated process for company employees to update and edit profiles.
11.Coming soon! Allow subscription for phone service on pen pal site for pen pals to call inmates and for inmates to check voicemails from pen pals.
12.Initial signup form will have a variety of hobbies/interests to choose from to match pen pals e.g. Sports, music, entertainment, likes, dislikes sort of like personality test..
13.Have a section on the website designated for best matches based on prior personality test.
14.Specific searches including eye color, hair color, height, tattoos, etc.
