Website Developer with Content Management Systems – Blogging Job
We are a marketing consulting company that has worked with a primary contracted developer for 10+ years. We need another resource!
We have multiple websites and clients, nearly all of the sites have been developed in WordPress. We are looking for someone who can:
— Create "main" website pages based on WordPress templates or "pieces" of existing pages (and combine those pieces into one page).
— Modify existing website pages– adding content, visual elements, etc.
— Create blog pages (once we have a few templates this individual should be able to take provided content and images and replicate new blog pages efficiently)
— Improve website speed. We continue to have issues where we fix one thing and break another, yet are still left with website pages that aren't that complicated with poor page speed
The skills required:
— We need someone who is communicative, capable, and efficient in completing tasks.
— Willing to say what they can and can't do
— While not a designer, we need someone capable enough to see how our content / images translates into look and feel on website and modify it before telling us the task is "completed". In other words, we want someone to "check their work" so we aren't going back and forth multiple times on simple modifications.
— Able and willing to check both mobile and desktop for UX / UI as tasks are completed.
We have worked with developers over the years to create thousands of website pages over probably hundreds of websites. We have been in the backend of WordPress and created many elements and pages ourselves. It just isn't our strength or our inclination so we need more developer expertise.

Hourly Range: $15.00-$25.00
