Word Press Edits and maintenance – Writing
I am looking for someone with strong word press experience to help with some updates and maintenance to my current website – https://homebuyerlouisiana.com/
The initial project consists of the following things
– Fix the sitemap as ahrefs has it as 404 not found
– Fix this tab pagination – The testimonials tab pagination doesn’t work properly (https://homebuyerlouisiana.com/best-home-buyers/). Page 2 and 3 are a repeat of page 1 even though there are more than 10 testimonials in the system. I want to fix this. I also want to change the number of results shown on each page from 10 to 25.
– Make the www. Version of the site work. site doesn’t work when you type www.homebuyerlouisiana.com (The https: works but not when you type “www.” I want both to work.
– Fix the Image shown for videos on houses pages
For the “posts” of houses we bought videos something changed last year (https://homebuyerlouisiana.com/we-buy-houses/). For the posts before August 21st when I created a page and added the video embed code it would pull an image from Youtube to be the image shown on the page. After August 21st the image was like an error image so I uploaded my own image. This looked good on the preview page – https://homebuyerlouisiana.com/we-buy-houses/ But on the actual page – https://homebuyerlouisiana.com/we-buy-houses/orleans-parish/gentilly/we-buy-houses-that-realtors-struggle-to-sell/ it showed the image but not the video. On the older ones it was the video – https://homebuyerlouisiana.com/we-buy-houses/orleans-parish/new-orleans-east/we-love-buying-fixer-uppers-in-new-orleans-east/
Ideally the preview image pulls from YouTube so I don’t need to do anything except add the video embed image. Or if that is too hard I don’t mind adding my own image but if I do that I don’t want the image to show on the actual page.
I will also have a new landing page to create. I don't have the design yet but we can start with these tasks. I would like to be able to use the successful applicant as my go to developer when I have projects.
