WordPress Development Project for a B2C client (Kadence theme and blocks) – SEO Job

Project scope:
The complete revamp of the client site with the present text content and new images from Shutterstock, however, two services will have additional text content (which has been written) and need to be added to the present pages. The color worlds should be similar to what the client has now. on the site

Logo will stay the same, you can suggest new heading and body fonts to give more modern look. The readability of the fonts is essential in almost every project, as in this one as well.

The site should be accessible and follow most of the latest Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and be responsive.

General considerations: The implemented site layout should look consistent with same paddings, margins and defined color scheme. Every page is effectively a landing page and that should be taken into account when implementing the web design.

Project goals:
Modern revamped Finnish site appealing to the target group of the company. The primary goal is to get more clients. The main business area is psychoteraphy.

Project budget:
You will complete this project with an hourly budget of 22 usd / hour and the maximum hours that you are allowed to work on this project is 9,5 hours during which we require the project to be completed. Additional budget will not be admitted based on the reason that the budget is too small for implementation. Your job is to plan your work so that the job can be done within the budget or in less hours to be more efficient.

Project schedule:
We expect the job should be completed in under two days for the first version to be presented to the client. Please let us know further details regarding the schedule in internal communication channels if there are any questions or information that we should know as soon as possible. The client will then reply, depending on the situation during the same week or the next, but sometimes the reply takes less time, sometimes more as they would like to be able to process the design, ux etc. After that you apply the changes – we will ask if the changes are ok to go live with or if further changes are needed. After that either the next changes are implemented or the site can be taken into production following best practices from the perspective of SEO.

General job description:

We are looking for a holistic designer and web developer working as a freelancer whose task is to creatively design and implement layouts straight into WordPress for Finnish customers. The customer delivers some or all of the essential material (texts, images, and other possible material) to us and your task is to provide us with ready layout in competitive schedule. You would be working as a subcontractor to a WordPress agency. The communication to the client will be handled by us. Internally we communicate through Teams and email.

The work will be done project by project. If everything goes well, we are eager to continue cooperation further. We already have projects ready waiting in queue, thus you are expected to start working asap. Quick and well-done projects could easily lead to better earnings.

Process:

1. We will give access with credentials to the demo environment as the present site of the client is already live and you will be working there. Applying maintenance mode there is not necessary as we are talking about demo url.
2. You use the present material on the site + new expanded texts for two services (will be given to you using internal comms) and new suitable images from Shutterstock. If you have any enhancement ideas in the context of user experience or user interface, feel free to suggest them to us and then implement them if they are ok by us.
3. Project description, budget and schedule are communicated through Teams.
4. At the 1st implementation phase: you design create Home and services page layout into our ready environment (Plesk WordPress installation) utilizing Google fonts, (usually) modern color scheme, and logo either from us or client. You don't have to design the logo.
5. You will inform us when this phase is ready according to the schedule agreed in 3.
6. We will give the link to the customer for feedback.
7. If the client is happy and no adjustments are needed, you can proceed to finish the rest of the site. You need to check responsiveness of the site and fix possible visual or functional errors. The usual breakpoints we use are 1920px – 1366px (large laptop), 1025px (small laptop), 768px (tablet), 480px (large phone) and 320px (phone).
8. You will inform us when the final phase is ready.
9. We will check your work and make the payment.
