Write professional development modules for teachers and principals in Australian primary schools – Writing
You must have very very strong English writing skills!! We are looking for an expert to write high quality, interactive lessons that form part of the learning tutorials for principals and teachers. if you have never written for schools before please do not apply. Essentially you create story boards for lessons based on a set of learning outcomes that must be achieved. There are a number of existing modules nd also a number of key source documents that you largely copy select appropriate information form to make the trainings.
We have a very clear method for developing our lessons and clear writing style for them. The activities must comply with our style guide.
• High level of English as first language is definitely required. They are written in very plain business speak and you are required to write them in the same style as all existing modules.
• Knowledge of school leadership in Australian/England/ New Zealand or the USA is an advantage.
• Knowledge of explicit instruction is an advantage.
• Knowledge of contemporary school improvement in Australian/England or USA an advantage.
You a re required to submit them through a review and signoff process. You then work with the digital team how assemble the lessons and ensure what they do and the photos and video that are done suit the topics.
This role could be ongoing for at least six months and also full time if possible or part time.
In your response you need to tell and provide us:
• On average how many hours a week can you work for us?
• When can you start with us? We need you to be ready within a few days of us hiring you.
• Please provide specific samples of training you have written.
This job will last for at least one full month but you may be extended for another three months to complete new trainings.
The way we work.
We use a doc review system and take on feedback if there is anything required
• You will be provided a simple brief and to the same repeat instructions
• We have a system in the cloud so you need to work on our system
• You will communicate with us via your own email and not through Writing except if its contract related as we all work through Microsoft outlook and communicate regularly (and we don’t have notifications on Writing on our system).
Hourly Range: $20.00-$35.00
