WordPress Developer – SEO Job
Description:
We are seeking a skilled WordPress developer with a strong background in custom theme and plugin development to join our team on a long-term basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating unique, high-quality themes and plugins tailored to the specific needs of our diverse clientele, as well as providing ongoing maintenance and updates for existing WordPress sites.
Responsibilities:
Design and develop custom WordPress themes that are both visually appealing and highly functional, ensuring they are responsive, SEO-friendly, and optimized for performance.
Create bespoke WordPress plugins to add custom functionalities as required by our clients, following best coding practices to ensure compatibility and security.
Regularly update and maintain multiple WordPress sites, ensuring they are up-to-date with the latest WordPress version, theme, and plugins to maintain security and performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve any WordPress related issues, including site crashes, slow performance, and security vulnerabilities.
Collaborate with our design and content teams to ensure that the website meets our clients' branding and content requirements.
Provide technical support and guidance to clients regarding the management and operation of their WordPress sites.
Requirements:
Proven experience in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
Strong knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
Familiarity with page builders like Elementor, WPBakery, or Beaver Builder.
Experience with version control systems like Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical clients.
A portfolio of previous WordPress projects showcasing your expertise.
