WordPress Developer (South America Based) – Translator job
Presently, we are seeking a WordPress Developer to collaborate with us in a freelance capacity. Our team values flexibility and encourages synchronous work.
This role operates on a contract basis with an hourly compensation structure.
As a Freelance WordPress Developer, your contribution will be pivotal in the creation and maintenance of top-tier WordPress websites tailored to our clients' needs. Your role encompasses the customization of WordPress themes, the implementation of website functionality, and the commitment to establishing a seamless online presence for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
WordPress Development:
-Collaborate with project stakeholders to understand website requirements and objectives.
-Build and customize WordPress themes to meet project specifications and user needs.
-Implement custom functionality using WordPress plugins and coding standards.
-Optimize website performance and ensure responsive design for various devices (desktop, mobile, tablet).
-Conduct thorough testing to identify and resolve any compatibility, usability, or functionality issues.
Website Maintenance and Support:
-Perform regular updates, maintenance, and security enhancements for WordPress websites.
-Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality and performance.
-Monitor website uptime and respond to critical incidents promptly.
Collaboration and Communication:
-Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including designers and project managers.
-Effectively communicate project progress, issues, and results to project stakeholders.
-Provide technical guidance and expertise to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree in computer science, web development, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
-Proven experience in WordPress development, including custom theme and plugin development.
-Proficiency in web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
-Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
-Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
-Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
-Capability to work both independently and as part of a team.
-Advanced proficiency in English.
