WordPress/Website Developer, Senior Level, Immediate Start, Fixed Hours, Long Term. – Affiliate Marketer Job

◼️ Option for more hours if things go well.
◼️ 10.00 am – 3.00 pm AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time GMT+10).
◼️ No need for timesheets or milestones.
◼️ Immediate start.
◼️ Must be an elite web developer – WordPress, bootstrap, some API knowledge would be useful, complex troubleshooting, optimising existing sites (beyond installing cache plugins), git repos etc.
We are an Australia-based business seeking a web developer who can help us with our ongoing WordPress and website projects.
The person we are looking for must be able to do the following:
⭐ Possess an extremely strong understanding of website stacks and functionalities across common platforms such as WordPress, bootstrap, custom scripts, git repos etc.
⭐ Approach projects with the future in mind – in other words, solving every issue with a plugin is not what we consider sustainable. Some plugins are essential, others are unnecessary. So we need our team members to be smart and know when to use a plugin and know when to provide a smarter solution.
⭐ Capable of utilising our git repos for version control.
⭐ Well-organised and reliable. We set deadlines in consultation with you and if you cannot meet a deadline, that's okay, but you need to communicate with us rather than leave us hanging.
⭐ High attention to detail. We provide guidance and documentation for most projects. Understanding these processes helps keep projects moving.
⭐ Willingness to ask questions in order to best understand the tasks at hand. As part of our team, we want you to feel like one of our team members and communicate with us accordingly.
You must be able to provide expertise on various website-related matters such as performance optimisation, best practices, and sustainable ways to solve problems.
Our view is that you will be with us for the long term. We have a lot of projects to get through and hope you will join us.
Our main requirement beyond technical skills is reliability and availability. We use Microsoft Teams so that we can have real-time conversations with our teams which will include you, and Asana to manage projects.
