30- minute consultation on USAID and sam.gov grant process – Blogging Job

We are selectively looking for expertise on this project but would like to meet 30 minutes before final selection.

We are looking for someone to help support a strategic push into US Government sales, through developing RFPs, proposals, and grants. Would you like to help?

Stratigos Security has a strong track record of providing cybersecurity consulting services to commercial, non-profit, and government (through prime contractors) clients over the past twelve years. In addition, we have strong relationships with people in Government who want to benefit from our capabilities, expertise, and track record of delivery. Yet, while we are excellent at our core competencies we are lousy at the Government acquisitions process. In many ways, we don't even know what we don't even know.

One of our strategic goals for 2024 is to increase the number and size of our commercial relationships with US Government agencies. To do that, we will create processes, templates, and supporting materials in anticipation of several opportunities, as well as seek out, manage, and deliver submissions we believe will position us well to win.

Since we don't have the in-house expertise for this, we will engage one or more professionals with experience in developing winning US Government proposals, RFPs, and grants. This person (or these people) will perform some or all of the following tasks:
– Work with us to define and manage expectations, including deliverables, timelines, milestones, with a high-level plan.
– Review existing documentation, including prior proposals, to extract relevant information for developing content.
– Lead elicitation sessions with key members of our team to understand our strengths, experience, capabilities, and value propositions.
– Generate content based on these documents and interviews, at the appropriate level to survive acquisitions scrutiny.
– Provide format and structure for the documentation, as templates and supporting material.
– Create lightweight process/structure for qualification, proposal generation, and submission.
– Assist with developing pricing models.
– Lead 1-2 RFP/proposal/quote delivery processes to smooth out the process and train us to lead internally.

Experience contracting with Department of State, Agency for International Development, Office of Management and Budget, FCC, and/or DHS/CISA are a plus.
