Build, Deploy & Configure Blog Website & CMS with Astro.js, etc. – Blogging Job
I am looking for an experienced Web-Developer who is familiar with the Astro Framework and has built and deployed many websites with it. I have an immediate need for a blog website and a potential follow up project for a company website.
At first, I would like to have a blog website for my professional content and to show my portfolio.
The potential follow up project would be to build a company website for my agency.
For building the blog website I envision the following milestones:
1) Find a blog template that fulifills the following requirements:
– easy for maintenance / updates
– professional design (tech style)
– great performance and a solid codebase
– flexible to upgrade for new features
– is secure
– has a built in CMS
– easy to use for SEO, etc.
—: deliverable are at least two alternatives of a template that can be used / adjusted
2) Adjust the template for my needs and implement changes
– design
– features & functionalities
– content
—: deliverable is a codebase in Github that can be deployed to a hosting provider (Vercel, Netlify, AWS or else)
Along the way, I need
– expert advise on best practises
– instructions and ideally small documentation how to maintain the website, create content / blogposts, do small changens, etc.
Communication is key!
I need someone who has built many websites on Astro before and is a seasoned Front End (JavaScript, Typescript, CSS) developer with Full Stack experience (website backend, CMS, databases, etc.).
