Developping a simple mobile application (Android+webapp) for an existing web-app – Writing
Hi experienced mobile developer!
We have our nice mobile application that is 100% mobile responsive (created in React.JS).
We want to create a simple mobile application for both Android and iOS, allowing the user to navigate the website as an app (webview), but with important native mobile app features:
1) Login to the web app using device biometric login or a pin code. If neither are enabled on the mobile, then the user will be directed to the normal login with username and password.
2) Mobile notifications (maximum of 2 notifications).
3) Approving notifications (always requiring authentication to approve notifications) – and sending an encrypted token to the backend when the notification is approved.
4) Allowing webview of the other webapp elements once the authentication is confirmed
5) Auto-log out of the user after 2 min of inactivity or when the app is closed
6) Deploy apps to stores (both Play Store and App Store) – ensuring they comply with all security standards of both platforms so the apps will be approved (very important!)
Our web app works on a zero-trust architecture, meaning the frontend generates an encryption key locally in the browser and stores it in the session storage. This encryption key is never sent to the server. This means you will need to generate it on the app once the user first logs in with their credentials, and securely store it as a token that is only accessible after successful biometric authentication.
We will provide the Figma design page for the login, including authentication popups.
We would like to get a quote (fixed price estimation) for this project and would appreciate it if you could mention if you have completed such a project before, as well as sending us names of apps as examples.
We may have many future projects together, as we are a young startup with many features and improvements planned for the web app (which will then need to be translated to the mobile app with your help). As such a young startup, our budget is currently tight 🙂
