ESP32 Developer for Innovative Display Device Project**
Project Overview:
Needing an ESP32 developer to help the development of a portable display device. The project involves creating a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that integrates with external data sources via API and displays information dynamically on a screen at either 10 or 15.6 inches. A crucial aspect of the project is to implement a secure and user-friendly authentication system, utilising either a touchscreen interface on the device or through a companion mobile app.
Again this is MVP project need a proof of concept not a full development.
Key Responsibilities:
– Program and configure an ESP32 microcontroller to connect to external APIs and manage data transmission.
– Integrate a large touchscreen display, either LCD or color E Ink, ensuring dynamic content is rendered clearly and efficiently.
– Develop firmware and software that are efficient and maintain power conservation.
– Implement dual authentication mechanisms to test which is better
1 – a touchscreen-based login interface on the device for direct user authentication with the API.
2 – Design and implement a basic companion mobile app for the portable display for the user to log in
– Conduct testing to validate device functionality and reliability, focusing on the security of the login process.
– Provide full documentation on setup, operation and code ensuring ease of use for non-technical users.

Skills and Qualifications:
– Demonstrated expertise with ESP32 development and a strong understanding of its capabilities.
– Experience with HTTP API integration and handling complex data structures.
– Proficiency in embedding and programming large touchscreen displays, with attention to power efficiency.
– Experience in developing secure login systems and user interfaces on embedded devices.
– Solid grasp of network security protocols and best practices, especially related to authentication and data security.
– Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to deliver on tight deadlines.
– Proficiency in mobile app development, particularly involving secure communication and authentication functionalities.
