Experienced WordPress Developer Needed for VOD Platform Development with WooCommerce – Copywriter Job
We are developing a Video On Demand (VOD) platform specializing in educational content, utilizing WordPress and WooCommerce. We are looking to hire a skilled WordPress developer with experience in WooCommerce, specifically with Woo Memberships, Woo Subscriptions, and the Adherence plugin. The ideal candidate should be able to manage and integrate these plugins effectively and suggest other plugins or custom solutions as needed.
## Key Responsibilities
– Integrate and customize Woo Memberships, Woo Subscriptions, and the Adherence plugin to fit our VOD platform's specific needs.
– Develop and implement additional custom features and functionalities as required.
– Ensure all development is optimized for performance and scalability.
– Collaborate closely with our team to understand detailed requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
– Regularly update the team on progress and challenges, using Git for version control throughout the project.
## Required Skills
– Proven experience with WordPress and WooCommerce.
– Demonstrable experience with Woo Memberships, Woo Subscriptions, and the Adherence plugin or similar plugins.
– Strong PHP coding skills, with a portfolio showcasing previous VOD platform projects (preferable).
– Ability to work independently, creatively, and solve complex problems efficiently.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to understand and articulate client needs accurately.
– Experience in full project lifecycle – from concept through completion.
## Additional Requirements
– Must be available to work at least half-time.
– Familiarity with Git for version control.
– Commitment to writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
– Experience in multi-language development is an advantage.
