Key Responsibilities:
– Develop, implement, and maintain website architecture using WordPress.
– Customize WordPress themes and plugins to meet business requirements.
– Perform stress tests to evaluate website performance under various traffic scenarios.
– Identify and troubleshoot issues in existing plugins and develop solutions to enhance functionality and user experience.
– Collaborate with the design and development team to ensure technical feasibility and to optimize website performance.
– Maintain well-documented, reusable, and transferrable code.
– Stay updated with new trends and best practices in WordPress development and security.
Requirements:
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in WordPress development.
– Proven experience in conducting stress tests and optimizing high-traffic websites.
– Strong understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
– Expertise in PHP back-end development and MySQL database management.
– Experience in customizing and developing WordPress plugins and themes.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Desirable Skills:
– Knowledge of web server technologies like Apache, Nginx, ISS, etc.
