SEO Specialist for WordPress Websites – SEO Job
Objective: To enhance the online visibility and search engine ranking of our WordPress websites through strategic SEO practices, including content optimization, keyword research, backlink acquisition, and comprehensive SEO audits.
Duration: Month-to-month, with the possibility of extension based on performance and project requirements.
Monthly Responsibilities:
SEO Strategy Development:
Conduct thorough SEO audits to identify areas for improvement.
Develop and implement a customized SEO strategy tailored to each website's needs, focusing on both on-page and off-page SEO.
Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and Google algorithm updates to ensure strategies are current and effective.
Keyword Research:
Perform in-depth keyword research to identify high-value keywords relevant to the website's content and target audience.
Analyze competitors’ keyword strategies to find gaps and opportunities.
Continuously monitor keyword performance and adjust strategies as necessary.
Content Optimization:
Work closely with content creators to ensure all website content is SEO-friendly, utilizing best practices for keyword placement, meta tags, headings, and URLs.
Suggest and implement improvements for existing content, including updating, expanding, or optimizing for better engagement and SEO performance.
Backlink Strategy:
Develop and execute a backlink strategy to acquire high-quality, relevant backlinks from authoritative sites.
Monitor backlink profile health and remove or disavow toxic backlinks.
On-Page and Off-Page SEO:
Implement on-page SEO tactics, including optimizing site structure, speed, mobile-friendliness, and user experience.
Execute off-page SEO strategies to enhance the website's authority and online presence.
Reporting and Analysis:
Provide weekly reports detailing work completed, results achieved, and insights into what strategies are working or not.
Use analytics tools to track website performance metrics, such as traffic, rankings, and conversions, and adjust strategies based on data insights.
Offer recommendations for continuous improvement and innovative SEO tactics.
Deliverables:
Weekly SEO reports including activities, performance metrics, insights, and recommendations.
Monthly strategy documents outlining planned SEO activities and objectives for the upcoming month.
Regular updates on keyword rankings, backlink acquisition, and overall SEO health of the website.
Requirements:
Proven experience in SEO, specifically with WordPress websites.
Strong understanding of current SEO best practices, tools, and trends.
Excellent analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication skills for effective reporting and collaboration.
Evaluation:
Performance will be evaluated based on the improvement in website SEO metrics, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates.
Continuation of the contract will depend on demonstrated SEO improvements and alignment with our overall digital marketing goals.
Hourly Range: $8.00-$25.00
