Setup Supabase Functions to send notifications to iOS users – Writing
Context: I have an iOS-native application that I'm building on my own. The application involves creating groups and posts, where users can invite people to private groups.
Technology: Swift, SwiftUI, Firebase Messaging (FCM), Supabase, and PostGreSQL.
Ask: Looking for help on creating functions that are triggered based on certain database actions on Supabase. Specifically a few tasks
– Send notification when you're invited to a group: When someone creates a group, and invites friends to it, send a notification to those friends. This would be triggered by a
– Send notification when there's a new post in a group. When someone puts a new post in a group, all subscribers should get a notification.
There may be more such functions to be created in the future.
