Editor/Manager/Strategist needed for Social Connection Newsletter – Blogging Job
I recently started a newsletter focused on social connection and stories of humanity:

The goal of my newsletter is to build community and help people through knowledge and story sharing.
My articles will be focused on sharing social connection tips, in-depth stories of characters I meet, and anything else that comes along and feels on-brand. I currently post bi-weekly.
I'm looking for someone who can wear multiple hats:
– First and foremost someone who can provide feedback on my writing and edit as needed. I'm not looking for someone to completely revamp my writing, but instead make tweaks and suggestions and provide general feedback on style and structure. Also looking for someone who can add relevant articles and videos, and generally spice up my articles a bit. Looking for a writing partner, I think.
– Content ideation and direction. So planning out articles, coming up with new ideas, thinking about where the newsletter is headed.
– Helping out with my newsletter aesthetic. I'm not thrilled with its current look, I can also just hire a designer but any aesthetic polishing up I would appreciate.
– General newsletter management, helping me understand metrics, growth areas, problem areas, etc.
I am wary of publication companies and teams, just looking for a newsletter writing partner. Simplicity. I just need someone who jives with my content, who is interested in stories of humanity and social connection, and who can help me become a better writer.
Please let me know if you're interested, and if there's a fit we will proceed to some trial work.
Paid Trial Project:
– Will ask you to provide a sample edit of one of my articles, and just provide general feedback on how you would make it better (visually, structurally, stylistically). Again, not looking for a complete re-write, but instead notes and polishing up, I still want the writing to sound like me. I don't want you to spend a ton of time on this, just trying to get a sense if our styles align.
– Would also be curious your general thoughts as to where we could take this newsletter content-wise, and how to position it in the newsletter landscape
Hourly Range: $30.00-$50.00
