Developing WordPress blog and a landing page – Copywriter Job
Overall Goal: Migrate Rankd's website and blog to a WordPress platform for improved SEO, user experience, and content management.
Website Design: (Provided by UI/UX designer)
Sales Landing Page design will be implemented as provided.
Blog Design:
Develop a unique and professional blog design with a responsive layout that adapts seamlessly to desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
Ensure SEO-friendliness, incorporating a clean, well-structured layout.
Collaborate with Rankd's UI designer to maintain a consistent visual identity between the website and blog (colors, fonts, etc.).
Technical SEO & Performance:
Optimize website speed:
Minimize image file sizes without sacrificing quality.
Minify CSS and JavaScript files.
Implement caching mechanisms.
Create SEO-friendly URLs: Implement a clear and descriptive URL structure for all pages and blog posts.
Generate sitemaps: Automatically create and submit sitemaps for both the website and blog to Google Search Console.
Optimize for mobile: Ensure a seamless mobile experience with responsive design and optimized page loading times.
WordPress Theme & Plugins:
WordPress theme selection: Procure a high-quality, SEO-friendly WordPress theme that aligns with Rankd's brand identity and blog design goals.
SEO plugins: Download and install essential SEO plugins like Yoast SEO to enhance on-page optimization.
Security plugins: Implement security measures through plugins to protect the website from potential threats. Consider plugins for user permission management and regular core/plugin updates.
Tennis-related plugins: Research and integrate relevant plugins that support tennis-specific functionalities or enhance SEO for the niche.
Analytics Integration:
Connect the migrated website and blog to Google Analytics and Google Search Console for website performance tracking and search ranking insights.
Error Page Design:
Design custom 404 "Not Found" pages for both the website and blog, maintaining a consistent user experience.
Technical SEO Issue Resolution:
Address existing technical SEO issues identified in Google Search Console, such as broken links and redirects.
