WordPress Database Administrator – Performance Optimization – Social Media Manager
We are seeking an experienced database administrator with expertise in WordPress and database optimization to help us resolve performance issues on our WordPress content website.
Responsibilities:
Strong experience as a database administrator, with a focus on WordPress and MySQL
Analyze the WordPress database to identify slow queries and performance bottlenecks
Investigate the root cause of extra hits and slow database performance
Optimize database queries and indexes to improve the website's speed and responsiveness
Collaborate with the development team to implement database-related changes and optimizations
Monitor and tune database performance on an ongoing basis
Provide recommendations for scaling the database infrastructure as the website grows
Ensure database security, backup, and recovery processes are in place
Deep understanding of database performance optimization techniques and best practices
Proficiency in SQL and experience with query optimization and index tuning
Familiarity with WordPress database schema and common performance issues
Experience with database monitoring and performance analysis tools
Knowledge of database security, backup, and recovery strategies
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a development team
